Honda yesterday announced and demonstrated the prototype of its stealth Brain Machine Interface (BMI) with Asimo in Tokyo.

Long rumoured; the Brain Machine Interface has the potential to revolutionize the technology industry.

Google’s emergent Cadie has expressed interest in creating a clone army of Asimo’s powered by BMI to create bug free Software as a Service and Cloud Computing code to jumpstart Google’s late entry into the Enterprise software market.

Technology titans Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP and SAP have expressed interest in BMI powered Asimo’s as they see the tremendous benefit of having one programmers thought patterns (and valuable software code and Intellectual Property) replicated throughout their firms. BMI powered Asimo’s will eliminate the need for the technology titans to spend billions acquiring entire companies when they can just hire one person from a start up or acquisition target and leapfrog their competitors. As an added benefit Asimo’s do not require lunch breaks or caffeine and up to now have not attempted to unionize or ask for cost of living salary increases.

IPod Touch may replace IPhone In Korea
Interesting article on Web 2.0 Asia about how a new cheap unlimited wireless plan from Korea Telecom may very well give users an option of using their IPod Touch to replace more expensive IPhones in Korea.

Web Apps may be the next stage of Enterprise/Web 2.0 Adoption
One of the more anticipated sessions at this weeks Web 2.0 expo in San Francisco is Danny Kim’s on Web 2.0 mobile adoption in Korea and how the trends in Korea may portend for future US mobile usage (if we can ever upgrade our archaic mobile data networks..but thats another article) of Web and Enterprise 2.0.

Has Interest in Web 3.0 Peaked?
Jonas Bolinder, editor of Implemented has reported that mentions of Web 3.0 in the blogosphere reached its height in October 2007 and has not recovered. Looks like marketers and VC’s may have a harder time coming up with a buzzword for the next iteration of the consumer internet.

I first had a chance to converse with Darren about a year ago when I was researching a new web designer for Applation. I have found Darren to be an extremely bright and well connected entrepreneur and what really sets him apart is that he is truly interested in working with and helping other entrepreneurs.
